London Fashion Week is over and we're already missing our daily dose of fresh fashion snaps and insights into what's been happening behind the scenes (not to mention the incredible street style we're pinning all over the web!). So what do we do now that fashion's hottest week has left the capital? Recreate the beauty styles of course!
After happily scrolling through Pinterest, Instagram and all our favourite fashion magazines, we have compiled the huge list of beauty trends into three quick and easy looks that you can wear on a daily basis.
Into The BluePeacock blue eye liner and eye shadow shades were smudged along the eye lids at the Temperley London show. Using a natural and flawless make-up base, make-up artists created natural and effortless looking skin which only helped to further enhance the vibrancy of the eye make-up look (not even the brows were fussed with!).
We instantly thought of mermaids when we seen these dramatic eye colours and instantly wanted to channel Ariel a la Little Mermaid. Rimmel's Colour Mousse Eyeshadow in the shade 'Mermaid' was the first product we thought of when we wanted to attempt this Spring look. The texture of this product is extremely smooth and creamy meaning it applies effortlessly, either with your fingers or a make-up brush. Try not to stray from the lid when applying this shade and avoid taking the colour above the brow bone; we want the focus to stay as close to the eye as possible.
Top Tip: Taking an angled eye liner brush, trace a small amount of the colour along the bottom lash line but only concentrating on the outer corners. This will create a cat eye shape which will help to intensify the make-up look.
Plum PoutsGlamorous and sexy, heavy gold & burgundy eyes accompanied by a heavy plum lip were spotted at the Matthew Williamson show, as created by the very talented Lisa Eldridge. Plums and burgundies are usually shades reserved for the winter months but we like how the fash pack are switching up this trend to incorporate it with our S/S outfits.
Although we still have lots of deep lip shades knocking around from before Christmas, we love adding new brands and lipstick formulas to our make-up bag, so we're hitting up BECCA's Glossy Lip Tint in the shade 'Maraschino'. BECCA has been one of our favourite new make-up brands to land on site, especially for this super pigmented lip gloss. There are a few great ways of using this product to create an intense berry look. You can start by lining and filling in your lips with a similar shade of lip pencil and using the gloss to add the final touches or you can dive straight in and apply the gloss all over for an intense and vintage inspired make-up look.
Top Tip: Dab a very small amount of the gloss onto your cheeks and spend a good amount of time blending it along the apples of your cheeks. This will pull the whole look in together.
Super StraightInspired by the beautiful Olivia Palermo who was a LFW Frow regular this season, we're crushing on super straight hair that is very slightly tousled. Effortless and relaxed, we have a total hair crush on this trend that is really kicking off this S/S.
Whether you have straight, curly, frizzy, oily or dry hair, to create the polished straight look, you're probably going to have to enlist the help of your straighteners. As much as we don't like to admit it, any kind of heat on our hair is going to have damaging effects, whether that be breakage or dryness. That's why we've called on the help of our good friend Tresemme and their Thermal Creations Style Creator Spray. We love this product because it helps you to create any kind of texturised look while protecting your locks from heats of up to 230 degrees. It also has holding qualities that will keep your hair in place throughout the day while adding a touch of healthy shine!
Top Tip: Take this styling spray with you on the go! If you hair is feeling a little lack luster throughout your busy day, spritz a small amount along the ends and create a beachy texture that's bang on trend.
