Here at the Fragrance Direct headquarters we're ready to jump into a new season of fragrance! We've rounded up our top 5 scents for spring. These fresh new fragrances are the perfect way to put an extra spring in your step with just a spritz every morning! Focusing on floral and aquatic scents this season's launches are guaranteed to please!

Dolce & Gabbana | Dolce Floral Drops First up on our short list is the newest scent from Dolce and Gabbana. This scent is drops of pure luxury in every spritz! This new addition to the Dolce Range is called Floral Drops and is a lighter version of the original eau de parfum. The composition retains the classic scent of white floral from the eau de parfum, with the addition of papaya flower and fresh neroli scents. The perfume opens with those new notes, then moves into a heart of water lily, naricissus and amaryllis. The fragrance then closes with base notes of sandalwood, cashmere and musk, replicating the scent of freshly picked flowers sprinkled with morning dew.

Elie Saab | Le Parfum Resort Collection Next on the list has to be one of our absolute favourites, this new edition to the Elie Saab collection is inspired by the Elie Saab fashion Resort Collection. This new limited addition fragrance promises an escape to the Mediterranean, and it most certainly delivers! The aquatic composition opens with top note of a sweet Fig and a Mandarin zest that adds a delicious and fresh sensation. In the heart note, the white and luminous Bouquet of the original fragrance signature is enriched by a solar Frangipani Flower. Finally the fragrance closes with base note of Cedar and Amber which gives elegance and sensuality to the fragrance trail.

Marc Jacobs | Sorbet One of our most eagerly anticipated fragrances for the spring season is the newest Marc Jacobs Daisy limited edition. Released yearly, the limited editions have a cult following to rival the classic scents. Daisy Sorbet is a fun floral fragrance that delivers a colourful and fresh new scent. The perfume opens with fruity notes of passion fruit, pink grapefruit and pear. The composition then moves into a floral heart of lily, jasmine and wisteria. Finally the fragrance ends with base notes of musk, cedar and violet. This is a perfect edition to the Daisy collection and the ideal scent for any Marc Jacobs fragrance lover!

Stella McCartney | Stella Eau de Toilette Our last pick for the ladies is the new scent from Stella McCartney the STELLA Eau de Toilette. This new addition to the STELLA range is a softer, more floral version of the original eau de parfum. STELLA Eau de Toilette is inspired by the idea of a fresh, dewy rose captured in the morning sun. Underscored by sparkling green notes, this bright and bold composition creates a young, fresh fragrance. The perfume opens with notes of mandarin, freesia and iced lemon. The fragrance then moves to a heart of soft rose, finishing on a warm base note of amber.

Valentino | Uomo Edition Noire Just launched, this collector's edition fragrance has been re-housed in a stunning black opaque bottle, holding the original scent inside. The scent opens with top notes of bergamot and myrtle which lead into a warming heart of coffee, chocolate and hazelnut. The composition then finishes on masculine notes of leather and cedar.
