To begin, buff the L'Oreal True Match foundation all over the face and neck. For an extra natural skin-like texture, press the product into the skin with your hands. The warmth of your fingers will help to mesh your base with your own skin. Next, cover up any dark circles and blemishes using the Bobbi Brown Creamy Corrector in the shade Peach Bisque and blend again with the foundation.
Next it's time to shape the face. To do this, Steph is using MAC's Omega eyeshadow to hollow out the contours of her cheeks. Whilst this does make the most beautiful natural crease colour, it's also the perfect tone to help create a realistic shadow on the skin. For added definition, blend Omega into the crease of the eye. This will help create a a sultry look. What's a Valentine's makeup tutorial with a pop of pink on the cheeks? Try lightly applying Bourjois' Pot Rouge in Rose D'or over the cheeks and blend. Think you went a little over board? Simply buff out the powder using the buffing/foundation brush used before. The product left in the brush will help to sheer out any mistakes of imperfections. Follow up with a light dusting of Technics Get Gorgeous highlighter all over the cheekbones and brow bone.
The next step is to incorporate a simple winged line into the look. Scared? You shouldn't be. Try using the L'Oreal Felt Super Liner in black for easy application. if you make a mistake, go back over the lines with a semi-damp cotton bud and you're good to go! Finish up the look with lashes of Maybelline's Go Extreme leather effect mascara throughout the top lashes. Add bottom lashes for a more sultry look or simple leave it as it is for an every day face. To help frame the face, try using Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil to help shape and tame those erratic eyebrows. Focus most of the product on the arch of the brow and feather outwards for a natural look.
Next? The lips! Now since it's gearing up to Valentine's day we decided to bring out one of our favourite hot pink lip shades of all time, in the form of Hot Gossip by MAC. Swipe it over the lips for an every day face, add a few layers for an more intensive effect.
With makeup like this, who even needs a date for Valentines!?
